ABOUT

Hugo Barclay is an arts professional whose work operates at the intersection of contemporary culture, public engagement and the international gallery ecosystem. He is the UK Fair Director of the Affordable Art Fair, where he has led the curatorial vision and delivery of its three London editions since 2022.

A committed advocate for the visual arts, championing new voices from across the international gallery landscape and strengthening the bridge between art education and the art industry. His curatorial approach places particular emphasis on visibility, access and the responsibility cultural institutions hold in shaping the next generation of artists.
